2. Product Information, Specs, and Availability

Where a project requires a site visit, fleet assessment, or sample checking, the final scope will be confirmed before work starts.
3. Quotes, Orders, and Payment Terms
Any quote issued by Bakerite is based on the information supplied at the time, including quantities, dimensions, condition of existing items, and delivery point. If details change, the quote may need to be revised. No order is final until it has been accepted by Bakerite in writing or by an authorised representative.
Payment terms, deposits, and release conditions may vary by customer account, order value, and fabrication lead time. Unless agreed otherwise, prices are quoted in Rand and exclude delivery charges, special packaging, or other costs linked to the order. Late payment may delay production or release of completed goods.
4. Repairs, Recoating, and Service Conditions
Our repair and recoating services include pan recoating, tray recoating, pan straightening, corner repairs, rim repairs, lid repairs, weld repairs, deep cleaning, and spare lid supply. These services depend on the condition of the item received, and some damage may not be suitable for repair. In such cases, we will advise on the options available.
- Items must be sent in a clean and safely packed condition where possible.
- Hidden cracks, distortion, corrosion, or prior poor repairs can affect the outcome.
- Turnaround times are estimates only and may change during busy production periods.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing faults that are only discovered after inspection.
When repairs are approved, the work will be carried out with reasonable care using suitable industrial methods for bakery equipment.
5. Delivery, Collection, and Risk
Delivery arrangements are made case by case. Customers are responsible for giving correct delivery addresses, contact names, access details, and unloading arrangements. Delays caused by transport, load shedding, road conditions, or third-party handling are outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes in line with the agreed collection or delivery point. If goods are stored for collection after completion, Bakerite may charge a storage fee where reasonable. Customers should inspect goods on receipt and report any visible damage or shortfall promptly, preferably within 48 hours.
6. Intellectual Property and Site Content
All text, images, drawings, logos, layout elements, and technical material on the site are owned by Bakerite or used with permission. You may view and print content for business use, but you may not copy, alter, publish, or distribute it without written consent.
You may not use the site content to imply that you are authorised to resell, represent, or certify Bakerite products unless that authority has been confirmed. Any feedback, suggestion, or enquiry sent through the site may be used by Bakerite for business purposes without compensation, unless a separate agreement says otherwise.
7. Liability Limits, Privacy, and South African Law
