What To Send For A Fast Quote
Start with the basic details of the item you need quoted. We work with steel oven floor tiles, bread pans, custom trays, recoating work and repairs, so the shape, size and condition all matter.
Please include measurements in millimetres where possible, and say whether the item is new work or a repair. If the pan or tray is worn, bent or cracked, add a short note so we can work out whether straightening, welding or a full replacement makes more sense.
- Product type, such as bread pan, tray or oven floor tile
- Length, width, depth and any flange or lip size
- Quantity needed
- Material if known, or the current condition if it is an existing item
- Delivery town or collection preference
How To Prepare Your Request
A clear request saves time on both sides. If you are replacing an existing tray or pan, measure the outside size and the inside usable size if that affects your process. For bakeries running through load shedding or shift changes, it helps to note when you need the order ready so production can be planned properly.
If you are unsure about a measurement, send what you have and tell us where the item is used in the oven or production line. A quick photo can help too, especially if there is rust, a damaged rim or a lid that no longer sits square.
- Write the site name and contact person
- Note if the product is for hot, dry or humid coastal conditions
- State if you need recoating, straightening or repairs rather than new manufacture
- Include any special handling needs for delivery or collection
Common Items We Quote On
Our quoting process covers more than standard pans and trays. We supply and service bakeware for plant bakeries, retailers and hotels across South Africa, and many requests involve a mix of new parts and repair work.
It is common for customers to ask us to assess a fleet of pans or trays at once. That can include worn corners, weak welds, damaged lids and items that need deep cleaning before recoating. A grouped request usually gives a more accurate price than sending items one by one.
- Steel oven floor tiles
- Bread pans and loaf tins
- Custom trays and baking frames
- Pan and tray recoating
- Corner, rim, lid and weld repairs
- Fleet assessment and deep cleaning
Where We Quote And Supply From
Bakerite is based in Westmead, Pinetown, and we supply bakeware nationally from that base. We work with customers in Durban, New Germany, the Upper Highway area and across KwaZulu-Natal, as well as plant bakeries farther afield.
If you are close enough for collection, tell us and we will advise the best option. If the order must travel, we can plan around packaging and transport needs so the items arrive ready for use, not rattling around in transit.

What Happens After You Send Your Request
Once your details come through, our team checks the dimensions, product type and condition. If anything is unclear, we will ask for the missing point before pricing it. That is often the quickest way to avoid delays and recieve a quote that actually matches the job.
For repair work, we may recommend an assessment if the item has multiple faults, such as a bent body, cracked weld and damaged rim. For new manufacture, we will confirm the specification before production starts. That keeps the order aligned to your oven, your output and your cleaning process.
- We review the request
- We confirm any missing measurements or photos
- We prepare the quotation
- You approve the work and timing
Send Your Details To Bakerite
For a fast quotation, email your request to sales@bakerite.co.za with as much detail as you can. Include the site name, product type, quantities and dimensions, then add any notes on repairs, recoating or replacement lids.
We have been making industrial bakeware since 1997, and we know that good quoting starts with proper information. If your bakery is dealing with wear from daily use, coastal humidity or heavy plant traffic, say so in the message. That helps us guide you to the right option first time, no guesswork.
If you are sending from a factory floor or loading bay, make sure the measurements are easy to read and the photos are clear. A neat request means a quicker reply, and less back and forth later.
